Trees can provide multiple benefits to your community. They can improve the dollar value of you and your neighbor’s house, as well as put a smile on your neighbor’s face when they hear bird song in the morning. Trees also pull carbon out of the air in order to grow wood. Planting and maintaining a tree is a service to the global community in the race to mitigate the damage from climate change. A neighborhood full of healthy, beautiful trees is an excellent use of urban resources, and a kind investment for future community members.
