Reports are often required in order to gather information and communicate it for various reasons. For example, some cities have a Protected Tree Ordinance which requires that a report be submitted if a home is to be constructed on a property with certain native tree species. Reports are also a good way to present recommendations since graphic information (e.g., photos) assists with detailed explanations.
